Watch it disappear around the bend Ride a one-trick pony to the summer's end Wave goodbye through time, it's over But was it yours to take at all? Strike out fear like learned fools Just destroy like there's nothing to lose Look at nothing, scream for vengeance All zero points of righteousness are yours Talk of justice but the ship is long since gone It was never here at all Look at all the broken clocks around us The hourglass has cracked and we are spilling out in droves The ship has sailed, the deed is done But time will not be kind to us Vengeance done, but all for nothing No one served, no one gone back in time Proboscis disappears in a silver gleam Control your variables, but what do they mean? You don't really know what you're doing But you don't really care at all Talk of justice but the ship is long since gone It was never here at all Look at all the broken clocks around us The hourglass has cracked and we are spilling out in droves The ship has sailed, the deed is done But time will not be kind to us Vengeance done, but all for nothing No one served, no one gone back in time No ship will come to greet us Nothing has been there all this time This will always stay to haunt us All zero points of righteousness are yours

about

NEOS15

The Philadelphia Experiment is a lo-fi indie rock song about quantum mechanics and capital punishment that I wrote in high school and originally released in 2014. In my opinion it's my earliest song that still "holds up." I recently developed a desire to revisit a bunch of old stuff (including like 3/4ths of an album that I never finished but that's neither here nor there) and I had a lot of fun remaking this one from the ground up and "giving it new life."

Includes what I think is the very first demo recording of the song from all the way back in 2012. There's also another old version out there under my old stage name Wesley and Holland.

Everything by me baby!!

The keyboard part was originally written by Robert Stokes way back when, he also played keys on the 2012 version

I made the image on artbreeder.com which is a pretty cool site to mess around on
